Neurologists working in ambulatory clinics encounter a wide variety of neurologic conditions. As new information and treatments emerge, it is often difficult to know sometimes even where to start to diagnose and let alone manage these disorders. We are so fortunate to have an astounding and renowned cadre of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neurobehavioralists contribute to this issue of Neurologic Clinics on Outpatient Neurology. The articles present to the reader rich information with high relevance to the outpatient practice of neurology---from disease entities to differential diagnostic processing and evidence-based therapeutics. Topics illustrate decision processing for the neurologist and provide practical advice and treatment options. The editors of this issue are very honored to have the collaboration of all the authors and appreciate the support of the editorial team and Dr Randolph Evans for his guidance.
